About

I am a New Zealand mixed media textile artist. My main medium was clay and creating ceramic works until I learned about the amount of fabric and clothing that ends up in landfills every year. After moving to a smaller house where there was no room to continue my ceramic work I bought a vintage sewing machine, got some upcycled fabric, and made things!

I knew my sewing would go in an arty direction and the work I now create allows me to use my love for working with paint and other types of materials with my love for working with upcycled fabric to make my colourful, and often quirky, textile artworks.

Having a creative business is a blessing and means I can work to my strengths. I have a disability so being able to take it slower on my not-feeling-so-good days is wonderful!

I live in Whangarei with my two rabbits Angel and Peter.
